Diversity Arts Australia’s Glazia Perez talks about Stories from the Future and the recent ACT workshop with culturally diverse creatives and arts workers at The Street. “The ACT doesn’t diverge far from the national perspectives, but each state brings their own focus and the ACT was especially focused on advocating for sustainable support systems for artists and united approach to creating change with other artists.”

DOUBLE BILL - “Around The Campfire” by Cameron Watson (Brisbane) + “Visions” by Kaisa Kokko (Finland)

Our feature guest from Finland, Kaisa Kokko, will is joined after interval by a range of guests to perform ‘Visions’, to explore the possibilities and threats of the near and further future, in a beautiful combination of physical movement, viewpoints, and tableaus.

Earlier, join Brisbane Director, Cameron Watson and Big Fork Theatre, in a communal storytelling treat. ‘Around the Campfire’, is an intimate and relaxed experience of sharing tales, first performed at the Brisbane Anywhere Festival.

Part of Improvention 2017; an international festival of unscripted theatre arts, with performers and directors from Sweden, France, Argentina, Japan, Finland, United Kingdom & Australia.
