Doom People / 7 Women of Different Ages

“Doom People” by Lai Chen Te (Taipei) & “7 Women of Different Ages” by Malgorzata Rozalska (Gdynia)

A spectacular double bill of forward thinking international spontaneous theatre, as Lai Chen Te leads a festival cast he’s been training in stage martial arts in a classic tale of honour and combat. Yes, Kung-Fu-prov has arrived!

After interval, see the outstanding selection of this festival’s Artistic Director- “7 Women of Different Ages” from Poland showcases with great joy what an equal world might feel like, as the cast choose to perform however and whatever they damn well like, without any of the restrictions, challenges, or animosities that society throws in the way of genuine progress.

Part of Canberra International Improv Festival 2018; an international festival of unscripted theatre arts, with performers and directors from France, Taiwan, Poland, Japan, Germany, Estonia, USA, Philippines, New Zealand, The Netherlands, Singapore, Greece, Sweden, United Kingdom, Austria, & Australia.
