Following a completely sold out UK tour in 2017, the frustrated news reporter Jonathan Pie is making his Australian debut – and he’s angrier than ever! Join Pie for a night of political comedy that soon descends into chaos. In Jonathan Pie: Back To The Studio he attempts to host a night of serious discussions on current affairs whilst simultaneously attempting to smash the system from within. This is political satire at its finest.

Jonathan Pie is the global comedy sensation who satirises the world of politics and the media. A news reporter known for venting his spleen in unguarded “off-camera” rants, his online videos have been viewed by millions worldwide.

In 2017, Pie made his live debut in a one-man show that was described as ‘electrifying’ (Chortle), ‘blistering’ (Evening Standard) and ‘desperately misjudged’ (The Times). Pie is the brainchild of actor Tom Walker, who first brought the character to life in September 2015. Since then Pie’s released two acclaimed live shows, a book and weekly viral videos. Don’t miss Jonathan Pie in his first Australian tour!

"The most exciting satirical creation since Partridge" – Rory Bremner

"A true tour de force" – Evening Standard (UK)

"Blisteringly brilliant" – The Scotsman (UK)
