The Protest / Living la Impro Loca

“The Protest” by Stephen Davidson (London) & "Living la Impro Loca" (Argentina via New Zealand)

A double bill of spontaneous international theatre begins with a performance that protests againsts the issues that individual cast members, and perhaps you, consider important, highlighting Canberra International Improv Festival’s diversity theme for 2018, and featuring the direction of Improvention’s first trans teacher, Stephen Davidson.

After the break, see how improvisers adapt, when they don’t understand each other’s languages, when Matias Avaca presents the bilingual “Livin’ la Impro Loca” partly developed in Auckland with Spanish speaking company “Impro Teatro Nueva Zelanda” and “Covert Theatre", and now presented in Canberra.

Part of Canberra International Improv Festival 2018; an international festival of unscripted theatre arts, with performers and directors from France, Taiwan, Poland, Japan, Germany, Estonia, USA, Philippines, New Zealand, The Netherlands, Singapore, Greece, Sweden, United Kingdom, Austria, & Australia.
