Meet the Makers: A Doll's House Part 2

Join award-winning Artistic Director Caroline Stacey in conversation with her creative team for A Doll’s House, Part 2– Imogen Keen, Gerry Corcoran and Kyle Sheedy - in a conversation about the process of bringing the characters and story to life onstage from direction to costumes and set to lighting and sound.

Imogen Keen is an award-winning set and costume designer for professional theatre production. She has enjoyed a long collaboration with The Street Theatre, including design for: Venus in Fur; Diary of a Madman; The Weight of Light; Boys Will Be Boys; Under Sedation; Constellations; Cold Light; The Faithful Servant; The Chain Bridge; MP; Where I End & You Begin, The Give & Take; To Silence; Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris; Lawrie and Shirley; Albert Herring; Dido and Aeneas. She has collaborated with David Atfield on Exclusion, Blackbird and Scandalous Boy, all seen on The Street stage. Imogen has received Canberra Critics Circle Awards for Theatre Design (2009; 2011; 2018) and an MEAA Peer Acknowledgement Award (2011).

Gerry Corcoran is a Lighting Designer/Technician based in Wolumla, NSW and is originally from Scotland. Gerry has been Chief Electrician/Lighting Designer at Pitlochry Festival Theatre in the Scottish Highlands and Chief Electrician/Technical Training Tutor (Lighting) for the Royal Scottish Academy of Music Drama in Glasgow, for which he designed over 40 productions ranging from small one-person scenes to full scale opera. His last lighting design seen at The Street was for CDT’s Happiness is . . .

Kyle Sheedy is an Audio Engineer based in Canberra. Having completed a Cert II Live Production, Theatre and Events during High School he moved to Canberra to complete an Advanced Diploma in Sound Production through CIT. Predominately a live engineer working on festivals and local gigs, he also works in other areas of sound.. He started getting into the theatre world working as a general tech and operator. He has worked as an Audio Operator on The Street Theatre productions: The Faithful ServantCold Light; Boys Will Be Boys. Sound design credits for The Street Theatre include Constellations and the double-bill radio-style plays of Tourmaline and The War of The Worlds.
