The Power Of Drum
The Groove Warehouse invites you to experience the power and majesty of the world of percussion in their first Christmas Spectacular The Power of Drum. Join internationally renowned performer and educator Gary France and his talented team of professional and student drummers, (ages 1 - 70+ years old) for a feast of sonic wonder. This concert will feature Carribean Calypso Steel Drums, African Drums, Indonesian Gamelan, Marching Drumline and naturally the Drum Kit in all it's splendour. Think The Little Drummer Boy X 100 and the 12 Days of Drumming. The finale will feature the largest assembly of Drummers ever in Canberra to perform that surfing favourite Wipe Out! (perhaps a Guinness Book of World Record event.) This is a family friendly event, great for people of all ages.
