It’s a tradition that has always moved me. The songs of Eric Bogle, John Schumann and Don Walker’s Khe San most obviously, but for me it all began with Henry Lawson’s ‘Scots of the Riverina". . .Singer and Songwriter Fred Smith talks about his music and songs for new CD Warries, launching on Anzac Eve at The Street Theatre.

“Welcome to Dystopia” by Chao Huai Yu (Taipei) & “Mask Life” by Jonathan Briden (Christchurch)

A double bill of spontaneous international theatre that ponders questions of how different people from different worlds can co-exist.

From outstanding Taiwanese improvisation company, “Guts Improv”, Chao Huai Yu and cast take us on a journey through the duality of our Utopian to Dystopian societies, with tales and characters of dysfunction.

Continuing the theme of our two faces, human characters and mask characters come face-to-face, as New Zealand’s Jonathan Briden and cast explore mask life

Part of Canberra International Improv Festival 2018; an international festival of unscripted theatre arts, with performers and directors from France, Taiwan, Poland, Japan, Germany, Estonia, USA, Philippines, New Zealand, The Netherlands, Singapore, Greece, Sweden, United Kingdom, Austria, & Australia.
