TIMELESS PERSIAN CLASSICAL
A Timeless Journey of Persian Classical Music
Five rising voices of Persian classical music breathe new life into the ancient radif tradition, transforming centuries-old vocal forms into radiant, contemporary compositions.
At the heart of the ensemble is Iranian-Australian storyteller and qanun player Vahideh Eisaei, whose artistry blends intricate harmonies with the instrument’s soulful resonance. She is joined by masterful collaborators: Hamid Khansari (oud, setar), Pegah Kheirdoush (kamancheh, gheychak), Sohrab Kolahdooz (tonbak, percussion), and vocalist Saba Pashaei, whose rare voice bridges past and present.
“Vahideh Eisaei showcases the instrument’s rich, resonant sound, blending together melodies and harmonies that reflect its ancient, emotive nature.” – ArtsHub
