Finding The Street Theatre

The Street Theatre is located at 15 Childers Street, Canberra City West.
On the eastern edge of the Australian National University (ANU), it is in close proximity to Marcus Clarke Street,
London Circuit and Barry Drive.

Parking

Limited on-street paid-parking is available outside the The Street Theatre's entrance and on surrounding streets.

City West public car park at Allsop Street is a 2-minute walk from The Street Theatre, but has limited opening hours:
Mon-Thurs: 6am to 9pm | Fri: 6am to 11pm | Sat & Sunday: closed
 

Please note that the Childers Street carpark next to The Street Theatre has re-opened and is accessible for Street patrons from 5pm daily.

Public Transport

By bus

Buses stop nearby to the theatre at Rimmer Street (Northbound only), Marcus Clarke Street and Alinga Street (Southbound only). Visit the Transport Canberra website for times and route information.

By bicycle
Canberra is well known for being a cycle friendly city, with many pathways leading into the CBD and ANU precincts. Cycling is
an environmentally friendly option for coming to The Street. Secure your bike to one of the many racks outside the foyer.
