I’ve personally found doing an adaptation quite liberating. . . approach it as a fresh piece of writing, honing in on what it was about the spirit of the original that drew you to the material.” Playwright Helen Machalias talks about the creative development of People Might Hear You by Robin Klein

Four decades after the release of the seminal punk classic [I’m] Stranded, Ed Kuepper continues to stand tall as an icon of Australian music. From The Saints to The Laughing Clowns and his classic solo releases including Electrical Storm and Honey Steel’s Gold, Kuepper is revered for his uncompromising songwriting, idiosyncratic guitar work and independent spirit.

After a well-earned ARIA Award nomination in 2015 for his soundtrack to Last Cab To Darwin, Ed Kuepper returns to The Street as part of a rare and select series of shows where Kuepper will showcase the outstanding new album Lost Cities (his 50th release and 21st on his own Prince Melon label) as well as perform some select pieces from his extensive back catalogue.
