ONCE IS ENOUGH

The Nicholas Combe Nonet launch their debut album 'Once Is Enough', returning to the very room the album was recorded in over a year ago for a special one-off appearance before Combe disappears for a sabbatical to Indonesia.
Although regular Canberra gig-goers may recognise Combe from a variety of different outfits, usually touting a very large saxophone, a beer and a batik shirt, this album will be the first release under his own name, and features a more personal side, with previously unreleased compositions from the back catalogue.
The concert will feature the album in its entirety as well as some songs by some of Combe’s favourite Jazz composers Charles Mingus and Duke Ellington, over two sets with a short interval.
Street Three - Unreserved | Duration - 120 minutes with interval
