Yotam Silberstein Quartet ft. Ari Hoenig

In demand as a sideman for such luminaries as Roy Hargrove, Marcus Miller, George Coleman, David Sanborn, Paquito D’Rivera and John Patitucci, Israeli ex-pat guitarist Yotam Silberstein is making waves globally with his precision bebop lines and fleet-fingered improvisations.

Leading an all-star quartet, his Australian debut in Canberra (en route to the Melbourne International Jazz Festival) will showcase original compositions incorporating Brazilian, world, blues and traditional influences.

From the age of 21 when Yotam won the coveted “Israeli Jazz Player of The Year” title through to receiving the Sundance Time Warner Award for film scoring Yotam has been praised for his technical precision and innate multi-faceted artistry. Yotam Silberstein has toured as a leader in major clubs and jazz festivals in Europe, Japan, South America, Asia and the US and has received high praise for his performances.
