Mike Jackson - DAMS
In late 2016, The Street partnered with local design and brand studio DAMS, on a long-term project to revitalise The Street brand. Now going on more than four years, that continued partnership has touched on most aspects of The Street experience, from core visual identity elements to theatre marketing, campaigns and site activation. Proudly for 2021, DAMS has delivered a refreshed look and feel for The Street website.
As DAMS' Creative Director, Mike Jackson, explains; The Street is a hugely multi-faceted arts organisation, geared to not only primarily deliver high quality, professional and relevant theatre to the ACT public, but expect entertainment hub, performance arts hub, gig venue, professional development ground and lunchtime go to, all thrown in. The Street brand is developed to flexibly communicate in every space imaginable, and few spaces, or places are as important as the website.
I think what our audience can expect is being greeted by a clarity of brand and clarity of purpose when they visit. We have spent effort rethinking and reorganising the doorways into all that The Street offers, whilst creating a more welcoming, exciting and contemporary online experience for all.
