Your support helps us realise the full potential of our vision as the leading producer of contemporary theatre and performance in the region and to continue to grow with you.
Street Supporters is our individual giving program that allows you to make a fully tax-deductible donation to The Street.
When you donate to The Street, you support:
- new Australian stories for the stage;
- the production of high quality theatre works made in Canberra;
- artist development supporting Canberra's inquisitive and inspiring artists;
- audience development and affordable ticketing;
- an annual program of contemporary live performance, music, comedy and more.
Donations in 2018 supported award-winning professional productions of The Weight of Light, by Nigel Featherstone and James Humberstone this gritty, song-filled chronicle gave voice to the personal impact of modern warfare and the costs borne by families; Diary of a Madman by David Holman, featuring PJ Williams who went on to win a Canberra Critics Award for his role as Poprishchin., Venus in Fur by David Ives, giving our artists the chance to bring an international stage hit to Canberra, as well as artistic programs including The Hive, First Seen, Master It and our Pre-Professional Program.
No matter what the size of your donation, your support gives us creative independence and ensures our cultural contribution continues. We can create more opportunities and expand our work as a producing house bringing Canberra stories to the stage.
