National Opera's Alexandra Flood In Concert has been CANCELLED due to the COVID 19 lockdown in the ACT

Join National Opera for an afternoon of operatic favourites with Guest Artist, Alexandra Flood at 4pm on Sunday 5 September in Street One. Alexandra will be joined on stage by participants in our National Opera Masterclass from the previous day, accompanied by Lucas Allerton on piano. Track the journey of arias workshopped during the masterclass or just enjoy these operatic highlights in concert. Featuring works by Mozart, Puccini and Handel.

Alexandra Flood made her professional debut as a young artist at the 2014 Salzburg Festival and has since graced opera and concert stages in leading roles the world over. She has appeared as a soloist at the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz Munich; Bregenz Landestheater, Austria; Krakow Opera, Poland; Dutch National Opera Opera Forward Festival & Operafront, the Netherlands and the Richard Strauss Festival, Germany. Most recently she has performed Nannetta in Falstaff at the Malmö Opera in Sweden, and was featured in recital at Teatro La Fenice in Venice. Appearances in Australia include the title role of Janácek's The Cunning Little Vixen with Pacific Opera and a critically acclaimed performance as Jemmy in William Tell with Victorian Opera. Alexandra’s 2021 Australian appearances include recitals with Southern Cross Soloists and Opera Queensland.
