CIIF Lola's Stories Retold
Filipino-inspired stories for children
by Francis Jasson Villanueva (Phillippines)
Children’s Stories as if told by a Filipino Grandmother patterned after the Lola Basyang Stories of Severino Reyes.
An engaging character of the international improv scene, Jasson was first noticed by Festival Director Nick Byrne when both were at the Singapore Improv Festival. Now, they meet again here in Canberra.
This show takes children on a series of heroes’ journeys that finish with proverbial lessons for kids to learn.
Best for kids 5yrs to 12yrs
