Poetic City: Mother Tongue Multilingual Mic
Come and enjoy poetry in many languages! And you too can share a poem in your mother tongue, heritage language or learned language.
Alongside readers from across the Canberra community, this Mother Tongue Mic will feature multilingual poet and songstress Karina Palomita, who speaks English, Spanish and Bahasa Indonesia. It will also include readings from participants in the Multilingual Poetry Workshop with Andrew Geoffrey Kwabena Moss.
If you would like to share your own writing in a language other than English (or a mix of languages), or a piece by a favourite poet from your language or culture, sign up for the open mic by emailing poeticcitycbr@gmail.com.
