CIIF Peregrine V
Improv that’s out of this world
By Jonathan Briden (New Zealand)
Science fiction improvised. In the Festival’s opening mainstage blockbuster, join the rag-tag crew of Peregrine V on their next exciting journey through the cosmos.
What is it that brought this crew together in the insulated relationship pressure-cooker of a starship? Will the tightly controlled air-locked environment tear them apart, or bring them closer together?
Complete with cinematic projected introduction and an all-knowing ship’s computer, the show will suit those wishing to pay homage to all the large and small screen sci-fi classics, but also digs deeper into the inner space of life’s big questions.
The travels of the Peregrine V crew are fraught with dangers; physical, personal, and existential, and this intergalactic comedy-drama is sure to leave you breathless.
