Join National Opera for a public masterclass with internationally renowned Australian Soprano, Alexandra Flood. Alexandra made her professional debut as a young artist at the Salzburg Festival in 2014. Since then she has graced opera and concert stages the world over with her stunning lyric coloratura voice.
A handful of aspiring local singers have been selected to participate in this National Opera Masterclass to be held in the Larry Sitsky Recital Room at the ANU School of Music on Saturday 4 September 2021. Whether you’re a student, teacher or opera enthusiast; this event is sure to provide fascinating insight into the technique and art behind preparing an operatic aria. Featuring works by Mozart, Puccini and Handel.
