The traditionally sell-out culmination of the Canberra International Improv Festival, were one improviser only will have their name added to the famous Speaking Staff, by causing you enough laughter and love to vote them as this year’s finest in our classic and hilarious improv comedy tournament. 

The winner of each Heat (held earlier in the Festival) join star improvisers from around the world and throughout the nation to perform classic and brand new improv comedy games and short scenes. You decide on your favourite scenes and the best contributing performer will triumph until 2024.

Expert directors from across the globe assign each game and scene, so even if you’ve been to improv game shows before, this is where you’ll see brand new formats never played in Australia, and brand new faces getting their chance to perform scenes with the improv gurus they’ve heard about but never thought they’d meet.
